Very good condition, huge yard progress done in March 2017

12m Ribco chase boat, 2x300hp (built and purchased in May 2017)

Winter based in Cannes, France

Looking for a deckhand (unfortunately, MALE due to cabin arrangements, opened to ANY nationality) with following qualifications, skills and qualities:

MUST HAVE:

• Yacht Master 

• 2 years (not seasons) experience

• PBL2 – Preferably large tender driving experience

• Watersport experience

• Not essential but preferred: Watersport speciality - INSTRUCTOR (diving, kitesurfing, wakeboarding...)

• SCUBA Diving certificate (any)

• Hard working individual looking to further career

• Level minded - Independent - Hard working - Team player - Insane OCD

• IMPORTANT - Good sense of humour!!!

• 25 years or younger

• Fit, active and sporty

• Maintenance skills and knowledge of the same (varnish, painting, polishing, carpentry...)

WE OFFER:

• Lots of Bridge watch time - drive time

• OSC for mooring procedures (swapping with 1st Mate)

• Tender duties + lots of drive

• Lots of SCUBA diving, spearfishing and watersports (air compressor on board)

• Salary DOE (starting minimum 2500€ as industry standard)

• Dual season from next year (winter 2019) so we will arrange B1/B2 Visa

• 3,2 days leave per month (39 days annual)

• Permanent MLC contract

• Full WYCC medical crew member insurance

• Start date ASAP (willing to wait for the right candidate)

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

Crew consist of 8 (Captain, 1st Mate, C/E, C/S, 2nd Stewardess, Deck/Stewardess, Deckhand and Chef). Multinational crew on board for cca 2 years now, young and very social. 1st Mate full hands on deck. Captain and 1st Mate have years of experience in the industry as well as commercial background and are willing to teach as much as possible, Bridge/Navigation and Deck wise. The plan is to cruise Adriatic next summer. The owners are extremely nice and good family, real pleasure to work for them. We have on board 2xPWC, seabob, 4 sets for SCUBA + air compressor, 2xSUP, wakeboards, kayaks, full spearfishing equipment and lots of inflatable toys. Busy summer season, done 4000 miles this season and 1500 miles with chase boat. 95% of nights spent in port, not much on anchor at all. Good tips as well! After one year of employment we’re willing to pay additional courses (verbal agreement which one and price). This is a great opportunity for the right candidate!
